This sight is very well built and I have no doubt that it will withstand anything I put it through. For anyone looking at this sight it does sit a little higher on the pistol than other RDS options. One thing I don't care for is there is not a +\- option for adjusting brightness. You have to toggle all the way up or down with the single button. This is a minor annoyance, but it's there.

I really like the red dot sight. It is just the right size, well built, and well protected from unforeseen hits and falls. Bright optic, and made in the USA.

The fast, clear practicality unobstructed view of target is unmatched. I like ease of changing the battery without having to remove the optic in fact I like these so much that this the 4th DPP I have purchased.

Buyer beware: This product does not conform to the DeltaPoint Pro footprint's spec. It's stud slots are only 4.0mm in diameter, which is 0.2mm out-of-spec.

I'm not sure what Leupold was thinking with this product. They should have machined 4.2mm stud slots on the bottom, so this riser would work with any 3rd party DPP mount. Since Leupold is okay with sloppy stud fitment, they also could have machined 3.87mm studs on top, which would be compatible with ShieldRMS/DeltaPointPro hybrid footprint red dots like Sig Sauer's Romeo-X Pro. In case you didn't know, the Romeo-X Pro has 3.9mm stud slots, so it won't fit this riser either.

My Reptilia ROF mount has 4.15mm studs, so it doesn't fit. Had Leupold's riser conformed to the spec, I could have simply mounted the riser backwards and purchased longer M4 mounting screws.

Final thoughts, do not buy this unless you are using the DeltaPoint Pro Cross Slot Mount. Also, ask manufacturers for mounting measurements before purchasing any DPP footprint accessory. Don't trust any manufacturer to follow the DPP footprint spec.

Great construction and works well. My only complaint is the battery life. I run mine brighter than most. I have to replace my battery about every six weeks. That's too often. I should have read the description more thoroughly. I'm transitioning to an RMR HD.

Scope works awesome. I have one on the turkey gun and bought a second one to run one my coyote gun two run on a 45 degree off set as a back up. Quick and fast!! And you don't need to remove the scope to replace a battery when needed!

I wish I would have read the description on the battery life. I definitely would not have bought this sight. The sight picture, price, and being able to be directly mount it to my staccato made this an easy choice. However, I didn't read the battery life details. I assumed I'd get several months as my holosuns and RMR's only need a battery replacement once a year. Not the case with this red dot. I run it bright most of the time and shoot a lot. I'm replacing batteries once a month. So much for saving money on the sight. I'm making it up on batteries. Still gave it 4 stars because I should have read the description. Just purchased a new RMR HD to replace this red dot that just end up in a drawer.
