Hole Guide and Cost Comparison to Profoto
The lack of any instructions is the main reason for the 4/5. For those asking, after some trial-and-error, I was able to figure out the hole pattern for the Bowens ring:
? Square softbox rods (four) go into holes 90° apart - all "1" on the Bowens.
? Octagonal softbox rods (eight) go into holes 45° apart - all "1" and "2" on the Bowens.
? Longer strip softboxes go into holes 45° apart (short edge) and 135° apart (long edge) - alternating "1" and "2" on the Bownes on opposite sides of the ring.
? Shorter strip and rectangular softboxes go into holes 67.5° apart (short edge) and 112.5° apart (long edge) - alternating "1" and "3" on the Bownes on opposite sides of the ring.
Once assembled correctly, it seems sturdy. I got the 14"x60" long strip with a Bowens to Profoto adapter because my total cost (with the grid) was $60. Compare that to the Profoto 1'x4' - the newer silver one - and the cost was $700!! (The grid and speedring are sold separately.) So far, the performance is similar, and there's no way I can justify the Profoto premium for light studio work.

Perfect addition to my home studio
Works great, no instructions were included so it was a little tough to assemble the first time, but now that its setup it works just as well any soft box. Included grid is nice and works well, overall very happy.

Great softbox with grid
The softbox + grid came in as expected and worked really well for my projects. The assembling needed a bit more force just the way it's been designed but once it's setup, it's good to use.

Small, packable, works great for one light portraits.
Shocked how well this worked. I was looking for a round parabolic modifier/soft box and came across this. I figured for the price it was worth picking up just out of curiosity. It packs down very small, easy to travel with and you can throw it in as a backup because it's just a little bigger than a laptop when it is packed up. Throws light pretty well, I rotate it into a diamond orientation and the light spill looks good enough.

Works as described - Large soft lighting
I must be an "Vintage Photographer" because it is a nice tool to have and produces soft broad spectrum lighting that makes it very useful. No more difficult to assemble than any other softbox that I have ever used and the build quality is awesome. It has great output from the source and allows for the use of a lower ISO and an aperture that is within the sharp band of a good piece of glass. This softbox will be married to my Tri-flector and a Lightform P-22 to create just the right shadow and catchlights. No complaints from me and highly recommended provided you understand that this is a professional tool and not a play toy.

Very disappointed
Received a torn and bent softbox. I was very disappointed that even when I told customer service, they tried to sell it to me for half price. It was a defective item that was listed in good condition. In the end, the company refunded my money in full. But to try to sell me it for half off was insulting.

Good softbox for the price - requires some assembly
This product is as advertised. Keep in mind, this is not a quick-set-up softbox. This comes with 8 rods that need to be inserted into the ring, which takes a few minutes and a bit of strength; hence, the lower price tag. So, if you're looking for a relatively permanent set-up in studio or only occasional set-up and tear-down, this is an excellent economical choice.

Better than I thought?
A lot better quality than I expected for the low price. Semi pain to put together the first time, but a breeze after that (if you leave the rods installed).
All in all very happy with the purchase.

Exactly what I was looking for, only complaint at all was no instructions to make it go together RIGHT the first time, but I got it sorted and now know how it works! Instructions may have been not packed or something but the actual product was perfect!

Awesome value for money!
Stellar softbox with great build quality especially for the price. This has quickly become one of the most commonly used softboxes in my studio along side my giant Godox octa. The only downside of these budget softboxes is that they take a bit more time and effort to set up and put away when you're done.

Good but know what you're getting
Nice solid and cheap option. BUT, don't make the mistake like I did buying and thinking the money saved would make up for convenience. If it's (more or less permanently) set up in a studio that's great but this is a nightmare to assemble. I had to use every bit a strength I had and it's painful on your hands bending the rods. Though it does get a bit easier the more you do it because the rods end up bent.

Godox or go home.
Easy to setup and works well in a smaller space. Was able to cast good light on and the grid was a lifesaver when I needed to remove the background. Godox constantly gives me a great impression for the price, so far.

Great, huge product! Time consuming to put together
This is a great softbox, the size is huge and produces really beautiful soft light for portraits. The only downside is that it is very difficult to put together as a traveling softbox. Takes time and some muscle to get those rods in. The Price Is Awesome for the quality!

I would buy this product again
This a a great product would recommend adding instructions for assembly, however like almost everything there are multiple YouTube videos that walk through the assembly process. Over very happy with product good quality.
