I use this as my primary boot drive. Computer starts up in a blink, paired with an i5-4570 & a Crucial Ballistix Tactical 8GB RAM. Excellent drive for the price.

I use this as a boot drive for Windows and it works great. Super fast start up even updating firmware was easy. Great bang for the buck.

I got 2 of these on sale (no rebates and gimmicks - thanks, Adorama!) Since SSDs are far more reliable than mechanical HDs, I had no concerns running them in RAID 0. As you may know, RAID 0 does magic for SSD - it runs x3 (or more) faster than a single SSD drive. For those, who care: my AS SSD score is around 950. Not the highest achievable, but in my i7-3770 setup, the drives outperform the CPU. The one thing I did not enjoy was the firmware update. All official sources point to a tool from SanDisk, but the tool crashes and does nothing on my Win 8 64. No matter how many times I tried to remove/install different versions, all ended up being useless. I finally found a page for manual update, where a bootable CD needs to be created. Once the PC boots from that CD, one SSD can be updated at a time, thus two restarts for me. This update is crucial, as it enables TRIM support for this SSD, under my Intel/Win 8 config. Without TRIM, the drives start to perform poorly, once the usable space is filled. Be as it may, my drives are connected to two 6GB SATA interfaces on a H77 chipset and for heavy Photoshop (wife) and gaming (me) use, the drives are just great! Also keep in mind that these use a good type of memory, with much higher lifespan than most (although, if you care about this, you probably know enough about SSDs and don't need my review).
