Virtual Reality, which along with its sibling Augmented Reality, continues to grow in popularity, just got more real with the Vuze Plus 3D 360-degree 4K VR camera. The camera captures high-resolution 360-degree stills and video in full spherical view and stereo using an array of 8 ultra-wide angle lenses, stitching the files together via an app and desktop software to create an experience that can be viewed using VR goggles.

Key features:
  • 4K Stereoscopic 3D 3600 Video and Photo
  • 3D audio
  • Live preview and Live broadcast
  • Lightweight and Compact
  • Automatic VR generation with proprietary stitching technology in Vuze VR Studio
  • VR Video Compatible with Humaneyes Zone, Youtube, Facebook and any VR headset or mobile device.

Vuze is a 3D 360-degree VR camera that captures full spherical videos and photos in stereoscopic 3D. The footage needs to be stitched to a spherical format using a proprietary stitching technology developed for use with the camera.

Each side features two 8mm f/2.4 fisheye lenses that project images onto an array of 8 Sony sensors. The image generated is said to have resolution of 4K per eye, and video is captured at 30fps for 3D or 60fps for 2D imaging. Video is captured in MP4 and compressed via H.264 standard, while stills are saved as JPEGs.

Audio is captured via four built-in microphones that capture spatial audio for realistic sound as you move through a scene.

Vuze is provided together with the Vuze Camera app, Vuze VR Studio and Vuze LIVE Studio. Vuze Camera app can be used to remotely control the camera and manage media stored on a removable SD card. Vuze VR Studio is used to edit captured media using spherical editing tools and to render and stitch media using proprietary stitching technology. Vuze LIVE offers live streaming from the Vuze+ camera to a computer via USB cable with real time preview, editing, and live broadcasting options.

The Vuze Plus 3D 360 Spherical VR 4K Camera will be available from Adorama for .
