Shoot great images silently

The ZEISS ZX1 comes with a full-frame, 37.4-megapixel CMOS sensor that captures images with incredible details. As photographer Greg Watermann put it, “you can read small labels, text, and writing even at 400% enlargement.”

The attached 35mm f/2 ZEISS Distagon lens lends itself to quick and creative shooting. The wide-angle and low aperture produce artistic and soft images. On top of great still images, the ZX1 is capable of 4K 30fps video recording.

Most notably, the leaf shutter is fast and near silent, so you can stay incognito when snapping candids or shooting in quiet settings — think street photography or presentations. The classic layout of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO dials make shooting intuitive and speedy. Instead of working through a digital menu, users can adjust exposure with ease. The highly detailed electronic viewfinder makes compositing and framing shots a breeze.

Edit on-the-go

The Zeiss ZX1 is an awesome tool for content creators who want to upload photos and videos to social media swiftly. The camera comes with Adobe Lightroom built-in so creators can stylize and fine-tune their content with ease. Working on the 4.3-inch touchscreen display, users can adjust exposure, shadows, highlights, and more. Once content is shareable, users can upload straight to social media accounts using the ZX1’s built-in WiFi, or save their content to cloud storage.

If you’ve ever misplaced an SD card or formatted one on accident, the ZX1 comes with a 512GB SSD to store all of your content — no SD card needed. If you happen to shoot a ton of 4K video and run out of SSD storage, users can connect an external hard drive via USB-C to hold more material. Also, the ZX1 has automatic software updates so you don’t have to worry about working with old versions.

As a bonus, users can register their ZX1 to receive a free year of Adobe Lightroom and 1TB of cloud storage for other devices.

The new Zeiss ZX1 is available now for  at Adorama.
