Who is the StellaPro Reflex S for?

The Reflex S is the perfect light for a wide variety of creators and use-cases. This includes creators who are just beginning to learn off-camera lighting and professional creators who need a run-and-gun hybrid light.

Developed to be a hybrid continuous strobe light, the Reflex S stands out for its versatility and adaptability. I’ve had the opportunity to use the Reflex S while chasing my toddler for family portraits, at a fitness shoot in a gym, and for editorial portrait photography aboard a sailboat.

Given its capabilities, the Reflex S can be an ideal light for photographers just learning to shape off-camera light, hybrid shooters who create both stills and video, and professionals who want a lightweight continuous hybrid strobe.

Modular Design

The form factor of the Stella Pro Lights Reflex system is extremely versatile and easy to deploy. It features a modular design that can conveniently break down into compact components. This makes it easy to pack and requires a minimal footprint in your creator toolkit. The modularity of the Reflex S makes it easy to mount and power in a variety of previously unattainable scenarios.

Its USB-C based battery handle is easy to detach, and ergonomically designed, providing a comfortable grip for extended handheld use. Also, the Reflex S also has a built-in native mount for various compact light modifiers. It supports Chimera soft boxes, SpiderHolsters, and larger light modifiers using its optional Bowens mount adapter.

Convenient Power with USB-C

One of the most future-proof features of the Reflex S is its ability to power via its USB-C battery grip. It provides up to 6000 lumens of continuous light output with its battery grip, or with a 60W USB-C PD power brick. The Reflex S can provide up to 9000 lumens of continuous light with a 100W USB-C PD wall charger, or a 100W or higher USB-C PD battery bank. When in “Digital Burst” strobe mode, the effective light output of the Reflex S is doubled at all levels of power delivery giving up to 12000 lumens with the included battery grip. You can reach up to 18000 lumens when using a 100W or higher USB-C PD wall charger or power bank.

Wireless control for Digital Burst strobe mode is offered for Flashpoint R2 triggers and Elinchrom remotes and triggers, with Reflex firmware being updated through Bluetooth using the companion Stella Pro iOS application.
