Everyone knows about Polaroid and, more broadly, instant photography. You see a camera and instantly know that it will pop out a piece of film that will develop before your eyes like magic. If you have an instant camera or are looking to get one, you may be wondering accessories will make polaroid photography easier and more fun. Here is our list of best accessories to elevate your polaroid photography.

Polaroid Originals Color i-Type Instant Film

This is the newest generation of Polaroid film made for the OneStep 2, OneStep+, the Polaroid Now, and the Polaroid Lab. This film gets rid of the batteries that are common on film made for vintage Polaroid cameras as the newer cameras now have batteries of their own. This allows them to pass on the savings of not having to insert batteries into the film packages on to you. Instant film isn’t cheap and this is definitely welcome! Just make sure you know that you can’t use this film with any of the vintage Polaroid cameras.

Fujifilm Instax Film

There are several different flavors of Instax film. My favorite is the Instax Wide Monochrome. I love the format and am a big fan of instant B&W film. It just has a look that is very appealing. While the Instax Mini is great for sharing and keeping per-image costs down, I love that there is an option to go bigger. The Instax Wide can even be used with large format cameras once adapted.

Polaroid Originals Polaroid Lab Instant Film Printer

This looks like the perfect merging of digital and analog for those who love the lo-fi look of Polaroid. What do most people do with the photos they take with their phone? Nothing? Don’t let your photos live unlooked at for ages. Get your pictures off your phone and onto a wall, into a friend’s hand, or make a collage. Most importantly, get your pictures out into the real world in a physical way. This printer uses Polaroid i-Type film and gives you the same look as if you took the picture with a Polaroid camera.

Polaroid Originals Hi-Print 2×3 Pocket Photo Printer

For those people who want to bring the printing party with them, the Polaroid Pocket Printer is the perfect way to take pictures with your phone and then share them with friends. Printing onto vibrant 2X3 paper this is like having a photo booth in your pocket!

Print File Negative Pages Holds Eight 4×5″ Polaroid Prints

After having the memory and taking the picture, you want make sure you keep those memories protected. While you can’t access museum-quality dehumidified, temperature controlled rooms, you can make sure that your 4X5 Polaroids stay protected and organized. Since Polaroids are old school, using an old school 3-ring binder with Print File Negative Pages to hold your pictures just feels right. Keep your pictures in their top quality and don’t throw them in a shoe box!

Slinger FujiFilm Instax Mini 11 Accessory Kit

For the person who wants to fully kit out their FujiFilm Instax 11 with colorful accents, this is for sure something to love. It includes a case with a strap, colorful fame holders, clips, and more. This kit helps you give a bit more personality to your Instax kit and pictures.

Slinger Alpine 120 Multi-Device Shoulder Bag

You want to make sure that your instant camera is safe and secure as you carry it around. Keep it in this Slinger case with a few extra packs of instant film, and maybe some batteries. You will always be ready to walk out the door ready to take some gorgeous analog film photography.

MiNT Lens Set for InstantFlex TL70 2.0 Instant Film Camera

If you own the InstantFlex TL70 2.0, this accessory kit will give you a whole lot of flexibility. It will help you control your exposure so you don’t get nearly as many washed-out images. It will give you the ability to shoot macro instant photography, and also comes with a lens hood to stop glare from getting into your lens. This is a truly useful kit for this camera.
