Exceptional Video Performance:
The new Lumix S1H makes video capturing a priority and steps up recording capability. The mirrorless camera can record up to 6K, 10-bit video at 24 frames per second in a 3:2 aspect ratio, and in 4K in a 4:3 ratio. Cinematographers are now able to capture professional movie-like quality from a modestly sized mirrorless.
The S1H uses a new 24.2-megapixel full-frame MOS sensor to offer accurate and sharp visuals, and the Dual Native ISO reduces the noise in low-light scenarios to keep image quality clear. The new Lumix grants 14+ stops of dynamic range, similar to that of cinema cameras, and V-Log / V-Gamut to fully capture the shadows and highlights.
More features tailored to videographers include a waveform monitor, vectorscope, and zebra patterns. Shooters can take advantage of these industry-standard tools to perfect the color and exposure of every shot. Another notable feature is unlimited recording time in all recording modes. The S1H also includes options for High Dynamic Range (HDR) in Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording and HDMI output, plus anamorphic 4:3 modes.
Users are free to add creativity to their film using several different recording modes including Variable Frame Rate (VFR), High Frame Rate (HFR), Night, and Timelapse shooting modes. Variable Frame Rate allows for cranking footage up 30x its normal speed to create a smooth slow motion effect. Or users can opt for High Frame Rate, which can record up to 120 frames per second to be slowed down in post-production.
The camera also features the L-Mount system, which opens it up for use with more than 46 interchangeable lenses, including the Lumix S/S Pro lenses (including the one below), further expanding the potential for creativity.
The new Panasonic Lumix S1H is available for preorder now for at Adorama.
Update, October 28, 2019: Today, the Panasonic S1H has officially been certified as a Netflix primary camera, and is now part of the Netflix Post Technology Alliance. The S1H is the first mirrorless/DSLR-style camera to receive the Netflix primary camera certification.

Smooth Throughout the Focal Range:
The Lumix S PRO 24-70mm f/2.8 is an L-mount interchangeable lens built for full-frame cameras. The 24-70mm focal range gives shooters the ideal settings for capturing landscapes and street photography on one end, or portraits and interviews at the other. The max aperture of f/2.8 stays constant throughout the focal range, ensuring a smooth bokeh effect all around.
The aperture is designed with 11 blades to properly distinguish between the blur and focus area. The lens is designed with Panasonic Power O.I.S. and Lumix Dual I.S. 2.0 to eliminate shakiness and provide a stable and blur-free shot. When used for video recording, the lens suppresses focus breathing when changing focus, so pair it with the Lumix S1H for even more impressive video capture.
The lens is constructed with 18 elements in 16 groups — three aspherical lenses, four extra-low dispersion lenses, and one ultra high refractive index lens — to rid your shots of aberrations and flares. Conveniently, the lens features an instant AF/MF switch so users can pop back and forth between the settings. The lens is also dust- and splash-resistant to calm any worries of the adventurous type.
