The Canon PIXMA PRO-200 is a wireless professional inkjet photo printer that outputs photos and graphics with premiere quality and detail. The wireless printer uses an 8-color ink system, including both gray and light gray, that recreates colors accurately and vividly. Not only does the PIXMA PRO-200 use eight different color sources, but the ChromaLife100+ ink creates an enhanced color gamut that leads to more detailed expression in blacks, blues, reds, and magentas.
To complement their photo or graphics, creators can choose a fitting paper-type to print on. The new printer from Canon allows for an array of photo papers including: plain, super high gloss, glossy, semi-gloss, matte, fine art, and more.
It would seem that printing images and graphics with this amount of quality would take awhile, but not here. The PIXMA PRO-200 can produce an A3+ print in as little as 90 seconds and a bordered 8×10 print in only 53 seconds.
Easy, creative printing
The Canon PIXMA PRO-200 offers users creative and efficient ways to print out their work. The Print Preview function gives a clear look at the size and framing, while the Print and Color settings panel allows users to make needed adjustments before printing.
The printer offers three layout modes to assist in compositing: single image, multiple images, and gallery wrap. The single image layout includes a border or borderless option, and the gallery wrap option allows for split image handling.
Other options like panorama mode and black and white mode add further creativity to your product. Panorama mode (see above) is an easy way to output photos up to 39 inches long. The max printable width here is 13 inches. Canon makes interacting with the printer as simple as possible. Mobile printing and the WiFi functionality allow users to quickly print from mobile devices.
Upgraded design
The Canon PIXMA PRO-200 is a whole 15 percent smaller than the PRO-10 and PRO-100. The wireless printer comes with a 3.0-inch LCD screen to easily monitor and adjust settings. There is both a top feed and manual feed, as well as skew correction mechanisms in the printer to ensure a clean route through the printer.
