It’s finally here. Today, Leica is expanding its M series with the release of the Leica M10-P. The M series has been touted by street photographers — along with everyone else — for its ability to quietly and professionally capture any moment without notice. The new rangefinder continues the series’ key attributes of being slim, tactful, silent, and easily discreet.
The M10-P weighs in at only 675g (with battery) and is just 139mm across for comfortable and subtle experience. Leica developed a new mechanical shutter that is practically inaudible, somehow improving the already stealthy aspect. The Leica M-10P will be available in both black chrome and silver chrome to complement the signature M series sleek.
Leica does not disappoint and delivers on its promise to keep photographers unnoticeable and crafty with this exciting, new release.

Difference Makers:
Although similar to the Leica M10, the newest release carries significant upgrades.
M-series cameras are sneaky but the M-10P takes it to the next level. On top of the quietest shutter of all digital and analog cameras in the M series, Leica removed the red circle on the front end of the M10-P for a discreet and classically minimalist design. Even the metal hot shoe is color-matched, ensuring you’ll be snapping a photo unobtrusively. The M-10P truly embodies the Leica style.
Unlike its sibling model, the M10-P features a touch function to complement the M-system. This allows the user to quickly adjust focus in the Live view and playback modes — beneficial in a candid scenario. The touchscreen also enables the ability for swiping and pinch-to-zoom to create an exceptionally convenient shooting experience. As a bonus, the Live view features a virtual horizon — also known as a “Level Gauge” — that’ll let users align their shots accordingly.

This brand new commodity comes in at , and is available in both black and silver. The unit does not feature video recording capabilities, similar to the M10. As for connectivity, the WiFi feature easily handles any file transferring needed.
If you’re looking to take your covert photography to the next level, or just want something handy and light, it may be time to make that Leica upgrade.
