Fashioned for any situation:

The Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 was designed to be versatile and adaptable to any scenario — and it’s just that. With a fast lens and ranging focal length, amateurs and professionals are able to bounce from portraits to landscapes to sporting events without having to change equipment. The 70-200mm is described as a staple and “must-have” in any professional’s bag and Sigma’s newest release proves why.

Jim Koepnick, professional photographer and Sigma Pro, says in a press release, “The trio in my camera bag has just been updated in a most professional way. I’ve just added the new Sigma 70-200 F2.8 Sport lens. For my type of photography, which includes action, commercial and photojournalism, this lens will get the majority of my use. All the picture quality:

Many aspects go into crafting pristine photograph quality, and Sigma put focus into each little detail. The Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 is devised with 10 exclusive low-dispersion glass elements, nine “f” low dispersion and one special low dispersion. This fancy feature means the glass of the lens is formed in ways to optimize the image, ensuring a high-resolution photo from the edges to the center and producing a desirable bokeh effect.

The new Sigma lens also features incredible, high-speed AF due to the Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM). Precise AF allows shooters to capture sporting events or any quick movements without trading crispness. Sigma’s Intelligent OS image stabilization further increases image sharpness by reducing blur.

Durable and lightweight assembly:

The Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 has been added to the Sigma Sports Line for a reason — it’s durable and lightweight. Telephoto lenses tend to be heavy due to all the material, but the new Sigma is built with magnesium alloy to keep the weight down, all while being sturdy. A lightweight design paired with oil- and water-repellent coating and a dust- and splash-proof structure make the lens an ideal choice for the traveling photographer or anyone braving the elements.

Lastly, the Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 is customizable to make any users shooting experience convenient. Some accessories include Focus Limiter, Tripod Socket, and Tele Converter.
