Fujifilm has joined the growing legion of camera makers to offer Wi-Fi image sharing among its top camera features. Although the company introduced five new compact digital cameras today, only one of them is wireless. All of the cameras listed below can be pre-ordered now from Adorama Camera.
Wi-Fi Flagship Long-Range Zoom Compact
The Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR is a compact, almost-pocketable digital camera with a 20x, 25-500mm (35mm equivalent) lens, 16MP 1/2-inch EXR-CMOS II sensor with sensor-shift image stabilization and a 3-inch LCD monitor and Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi feature lets users back up photos to a home computer using Fujifilm PC Autosave on their computer, or share images and videos online via their iOS or Android device using the Fujifilm Camera App.

Fujifilm also introduced the nearly-identical Fujifilm FinePix F850EXR. This model lacks Wi-Fi.
The Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR will be available in black or blue in March for $399.95 but can be pre-ordered from Adorama now. The Fujifilm F850EXR will cost $299.95, and can also be pre-ordered in black now from Adorama.
All-In-One Long-Zoomers
Fujifilm announced two long-range zoom cameras, the Fujifilm FinePix S6800 with a 40x zoom and the S4800 with a 24-720mm (35mm equivalent) 40x zoom lens cameras that are packed with features and are designed for enthusiasts. Both cameras have lenses with 17 elements in 12 groups, Super Macro mode that lets users focus to less than an inch, and improved autofocus. Both models have a 3-inch LCD monitor.
The differences? The higher-end Fujifilm FinePix S6800 has a 16MP 1/2.3-inch BSI-CMOS sensor with an ISO range of 100-12,800. The company claims 0.3-second AF acquisition, 1-second start-up and a burst rate of 8fps up to 10 consecutive frames at full resolution. In a reduced resolution ultra-high-speed mode it can capture 60fps at 1280×960 resolution and 120fps at VGA quality. It is capable of capturing full 1080i/60fps HD video with Stereo sound, and slow-motion video capture. The LCD monitor is 460k dot resolution. The camera runs on 4 AA batteries and is available for pre-order now from Adorama for $249.95 in black, white, and red.
The Fujifilm Finepix S4800 uses a 16MP 1/2.3-inch CCD sensor, so images at higher speeds might have a bit more noise. AF speed is claimed at 0.3 seconds, and startup times are expected to clock in at 1.3 seconds. The LCD monitor has 230k dot resolution. Video capture is 720p at 30fps. It is available for pre-order now from Adorama for $229.95 in black .
Compact and Cheap
Fuji also introduced a sub-$100 model, the Fujifilm FinePix J680, a pocket-sized compact with a 5x 26-130mm (35mm equivalent) lens with digital image stabilization and a 16MP sensor with an ISO 100-3200 range (although we recommend staying at the lower speeds). It is backed by a 3-inch, 230k resoltuion LCD monitor. The camera captures 720p HD movies, and has 6 creative filters: Pop Color, Toy Camera, Miniature, Partial Color, Soft Focus, and Cross Screen. It will be available in March and can be pre-ordered now from Adorama for $99.95 in black or red.
