Live streaming enhanced:

With the Roland Go:Livecast studio, all users need is a smartphone to set up a professional-style livestream. The newest product from Roland includes a small desktop production board and an interactive app. To start, users just plug in their headphones and smartphone, and they can begin streaming away.

The desktop hardware has all the assets needed to create a professional broadcast. On the microphone side, the board has an XLR input with 48v phantom power, a jack to use a headphone microphone, and an onboard microphone if you don’t have equipment. The XLR input supports high-end condenser microphones for expert sound and there is a reverb option to enhance your voice. The board also has a line input if streamers want to connect an instrument or an external mixer to really master the production. Of course, there is a headphone jack to monitor all the input levels.

The front of the board includes volume knobs and six customizable buttons to quickly bring up media such as titles, photos, videos, music, and more. Streamers can upload a full, tailored media library of visual and audio content to supplement their broadcast. And with the layout of the hardware, users can produce a cohesive and well-crafted show with ease.

Interactive smartphone application:

On the software side, the interactive app creates a seamless production experience. Users can directly connect to their favorite streaming apps such as Facebook Live, Youtube, and Twitch. While streaming, the Roland Go:Livecast app will show comments from viewers in a scrolling window. The app supports both landscape and portrait orientations so you can adjust as needed. If you really want to step up your streaming game, you can connect a second via WiFi on the app. Users can quickly switch between both cameras with one-touch or stream both shots with a split view.

The Roland Go:Livecast production board and application is now available for preorder for  at Adorama
