The newly developed DIGIC DV 7 processes the 5.9K imaging sensor’s massive RAW information and readies it for output. With this powerhouse of a processing system, the EOS C500 Mark II offers high-frame-rate recording, dual pixel auto focus, Canon Raw Light Recording, HDR output, electronic image stabilization, proxy recording, and oversampling 5.9K processing. It also enables Cinema RAW Light recording, which means editors can color-grade freely with file sizes that range from 1/3 to 1/5 the size of Cinema Raw.

The Canon EOS C500 Mark II’s modular design features a host of accessories and expansion units for customization and functionality. Some of the nearly 20 accessories include a thumb rest, mic holder unit, LCD attachment, shoulder support unit, and mount kit. It can even be stripped down tight enough to fly on a drone.
