Powerful Sensor Offers Low Noise Footage with Spot-On Colors

Low noise, 15 stops of dynamic range, and natural skin tones are just a few of many advantages that come from shooting with the EOS C500 Mark II. The full-frame CMOS sensor captures a variety of footage styles and aspect formats, including DCI-4K, UHD, and Anamorphic Widescreen. Conventional Super 35mm and Super 16mm can also pair with the sensor for unique and story-driven footage.

DIGIC DV 7 Processes High-Res Data

The newly developed DIGIC DV 7 processes the 5.9K imaging sensor’s massive RAW information and readies it for output. With this powerhouse of a processing system, the EOS C500 Mark II offers high-frame-rate recording, dual pixel auto focus, Canon Raw Light Recording, HDR output, electronic image stabilization, proxy recording, and oversampling 5.9K processing. It also enables Cinema RAW Light recording, which means editors can color-grade freely with file sizes that range from 1/3 to 1/5 the size of Cinema Raw.
