Portable, Pure Sound That Is Easy to Control:

The new Bose Portable Home Speaker is just that — portable. Within the house, the speaker can be carried from room to room without losing sound. Outside of the house, the speaker can be easily controlled via Bluetooth, so users are free to ferry their speaker to the park, the lake, camping, or wherever they’re headed. It helps that the new Bose is only 2.3 pounds and has a nifty carrying handle attached. The new Bose was designed to be durable and water-resistant to handle the more rugged settings, so don’t be fooled by the “Home” in the name.

Another factor improving the speaker’s portability is its battery. Users can get up to 12 hours of continuous music out of the speaker from a single charge, long enough for a full day out. Users can purchase the optional charging cradle that can charge the speaker while users are still listening. Charging cradles do need to be plugged in.

Most importantly: the sound. The Portable Home Speaker sends full, clear sound in all 360 degrees. Users can place the speaker in the middle of a party for even reach of sound, or locate the speaker in a corner to bounce audio off the walls and envelop the room. Bose included a deep bass so the low tones truly resonate.

Another notable feature is the ease of control. While using WiFi, users can take advantage of either Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to control their audio hands-free. The microphone is located on top of the speaker and this custom design registers voices even with loud music playing. Also using WiFi, users can stream from their favorite music providers, including Spotify, Amazon Music, Pandora, and a few others. For ultimate control, users can set up the Bose Music App. With the app, users can switch between their playlists, update their speakers, and link the Bose Portable Home Speaker with other compatible Bose speakers within range for a premiere experience.

The new Bose Portable Home Speaker available for preorder in both black and silver for  at Adorama.
