Enhanced Acoustic Noise Cancelling

The Bose QC series are known for their noise cancelling technology — it’s evident in the QuietComfort 45 headphones from the moment you’ll put them on. It’s one thing to have high fidelity headphones, but it’s another thing to have high fidelity headphones that eliminate the outside noise. If you put these headphones in Quiet Mode, you’ll get just that. You’ll hear nothing other than the music or podcast of your choice. The Enhanced Acoustic Noise Cancelling technology uses six discreet microphones to measure, compare, and react to outside noise. It then cancels out the noise so it doesn’t reach your ears. Even without listening to anything, the silence these headphones create while in Quiet Mode combined with the soft ear cushions make for a great escape on a crowded airplane or train.

Aware Mode

The Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones have improved audio pickup to both enhance its acoustic noise cancelling technology and create its new Aware Mode. As the name suggests, it blends your music and your environment at the same time to keep you aware. Fortunately, this  feature is controlled by a button on the left earcup so you can switch modes effortlessly.

Wear with Comfort

The Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones have a lightweight design and plush ear cups to keep you satisfied during long-term use. Bose does a great job of combining performance with comfort by using a plush synthetic leather on the earcup cushions and headband. The headphones also feature impact-resistant glass-filled nylon and cast-metal hinges for increased durability. Additionally, you can enjoy a battery life lasting up to 24 hours, meaning you can keep on listening with virtually no disturbances.

Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones are currently sold on Adorama in two colors (Black and White Smoke) for $329.
