ra, is proud to announce its partnership with Eye-Fi, makers of the world’s first wireless memory cards for digital cameras. The Eye-Fi cards allow users to download digital image files to their hard drives more easily and quickly than ever before using home wireless networks, or at Wayport™ hotspots all over the world.
Now photographers who use the wireless SD memory cards can have their images uploaded to AdoramaPix for sharing or printing on any of their more than 25 sizes of professional quality digital prints and greeting cards. To sweeten the deal, AdoramaPix is offering Eye-Fi users who sign up for a free account on their website 50 free 4×6 prints! And as if that weren’t enough, Adorama Camera is offering a $20 instant rebate to customers who buy any of the Eye-Fi cards at Adorama.com or in the New York super store between now and October 4th.
During Eye-Fi set up, the user adds AdoramaPix as their lab of choice. The image files are downloaded to the hard drive of either the customer’s Mac or PC, and also sent to an AdoramaPix album. They can be renamed, the images rearranged, and the album shared with friends and of course printed, all with a few clicks on the AdoramaPix site.
Herman Klein, Director of AdoramaPix says, “This partnership with Eye-Fi is one more example of our dedication to make printing as easy as possible for our customers. AdoramaPix users now have the most advanced uploading, sharing and printing tools at their fingertips.”
