Fresh off an exciting run at WPPI in Las Vegas last month, the Adorama team is now prepped and packed for one of the biggest industry events of the year—NAB 2025. From April 5-9, Las Vegas will become the epicenter of innovation in broadcasting, media, and video production, drawing thousands of industry professionals eager to explore the latest gear, technology, and trends. Whether you’re a filmmaker, content creator, or tech enthusiast, NAB is where cutting-edge ideas come to life. Here’s a look at what you can expect from Adorama’s presence at the show, plus a bit of history on NAB’s evolution.

Check out some of the great new releases announced at NAB 2025 Here!

Innovation and Inspiration

What began in 1923 as a small radio broadcaster meet-up in New York has grown into one of the most influential trade shows in the world. As media has evolved—from radio to television, cable to streaming, and now AI-powered content creation—NAB has kept pace, expanding its reach and impact.

Today, NAB attracts more than 65,000 attendees from over 160 countries, along with thousands of exhibitors showcasing the latest advancements in broadcast tech, video production, and content creation. This year, the show will be packed with hands-on demonstrations, expert panels, and keynotes from industry leaders tackling the future of AI in filmmaking, the creator economy (including how to connect with audiences and capitalize on new platforms), and the continued rise of streaming platforms that bypass traditional cable and satellite distribution. Among other innovations on tap, look for a focus on the future of filmmaking, new camera and lens releases from Blackmagic Design (specifically its 65mm 17K cinema camera), potential new APS-C cameras from Canon, and the expansion of the L-Mount Alliance, as well as new tech in audio equipment, software, and cloud solutions.

Adorama has long been a key player at NAB, actively shaping the industry over the years by supporting creators and showcasing the latest technology. As the headliner sponsor of must-visit hub CineCentral for the third year in a row, Adorama becomes Adorama Cinema, providing top-tier equipment, expert insights, and hands-on craft clinics for filmmakers, directors, camera operators, and content creators.

Here’s a deeper look at what Adorama Cinemas will be doing this year at NAB CineCentral in North Hall (where you can also find stands from Arri, Fujifilm, Sony, Panasonic, Canon, RODE, Kino Flo, and more).

Adorama Cinema at NAB 2025: Merging Expertise Under One Roof

So, what is Adorama Cinema specifically? It’s a collaboration between Adorama’s retail arm, Adorama Business Solutions (ABS), and Adorama Rental Co (ARC). Working in synchronicity at the show to provide the best gear and support for creators and businesses of all sizes. Reps from all three Adorama teams will be on hand to answer questions and provide filmmakers and video producers with access to brand new gear. As well as pro services, rentals and expert education.

Carl Cook and Derek Barocas from the Rentals team, as well as James Bushey and Kimber VanRy from the Business Solutions team, will be on hand to talk about opportunities. These opportunities help support your business, from the small studio all the way up to network productions. Whether you are looking for drones, cameras, lighting, audio, or video—they can talk you through the entire end-to-end solution. As Bushey likes to describe it, “We have a massive use department. If you have old things that you want to get rid of and cycle in new equipment, we can take that original investment and put it towards your new gear. We help you build the kit that you want.”

There will also be two Adorama-sponsored Craft Clinics featuring innovative equipment from Sony, Aputure, and ARC. Additionally, there will be discussions and demonstrations centering around emerging cinematic trends. Trends such as AI’s role in filmmaking, and the evolving workflows for on-set communications.
