Roddy A : Is there a way this can be adapted to some Sort of wheel Accessories to make it easier to move around in a studio?Anne P : Probably. But it was too heavy for me to pick up and move so I gan it to my son who is also a photographer.
Shopper : According to the review, it will not come apart..... I find that hard to believe. How easy is it to break down for transport?? I see it weighs almost 40 lbs! I like that it is heavy duty. Others are far less in $$ amounts, but will only hold 10 - 13 lbs when the boom is extended. This is rated to hold 17 lbs on the end of the boom.GIL C : It can't be broken down and would be difficult to carry for transport. I've done it one time, but 40lbs is a lot to be carrying around. This is made more for studio shooting and its quality is magnificent. The foot print is a little large once it is extended but workable. Definitely recommended. Definitely invest in the wheels for it, you wont regret it.JOHN S : Awesome boom. Holds a lot of weight and is sturdy. The boom is built to rotate and go into the top of the stand. So it can either be an extra tall stand or a boom. You need a tall ceiling or lay the stand on its side to extend and rotate the boom extension into place. All collapsed it will fit into a suv with the back seat down. I do use it on location shoots when I have to boom a heavy modifier. Typically use with a profoto d1 and octa does not move at all. Just make sure to counterweight the boom. It is heavy. About 30-35 lbs, collapses to about 5.5 ft and will extend about 16 feet straight up. Highly recommended if you have heavy lights and modifiers. If not go with something smaller.

Holly Boom!!!!

all i have to say is wow! i dont ever have to worry about putting anything heavy on this it will take it and ask for more! only down side i see is if you need to put this in a car to take on location it has to go inside, not really able to be taken apart.
