The Workshops take place in The Adorama Building, located in the heart of New York City’s Photo District. We are offering nine new Workshops September and October, and are delighted to announce the return of our most popular courses!Many of these Workshops fill up fast, so even though September seems far away, right now is the best time to register and guarantee yourself a spot!What’s new in September and October: Sept. 1: New York On Parade: West Indian Day Carnival Parade, with Allen Rokach. Join Allen and photograph one of the most lively and colorful parades to march in New York City, followed by a critique/review session on September 4.Sept. 7: The Art of Still Life, with Karen Schuld. Explore design, textures, lighting and composition in still-life photography in this daylong hands-on Workshop. Sept. 14: Master Session: Newly Updated Understanding Exposure and Composition – The Mystery Revealed with Bryan Peterson. Bryan, one our most popular instructors, shows you how to master composition and exposure in this full-day Workshop. Enjoy learning from his extensive experience as a successful commercial and stock photographer.Sept. 23: Canon EOS Discovery Day – Rebel series with Rich Berk, Canon Camera Product Educator. An intensive daylong Workshop where you will learn techniques for candid storytelling wedding photography that many clients love.Oct. 5: Environmental Portraits with Allen Rokach. First you’ll learn theory, then hop a train to a location in Manhattan where you’ll be doing on-location environmental portraits, learning to make the background and foreground evoke aspects of the subject.Oct. 12: Digital Infrared Photography with Jean Miele. Infrared photography has never been more accessible to photographers, thanks to “modified” IR cameras and IR specialty cameras.
