In the late hours of Sunday, January 20th, and weathering frigid temperatures in large parts of the country, photographers set out to capture the rare event known as the “Super Blood Moon.” The lunar eclipse, which is the only one set to happen in 2019, produced some of our favorite astrophotography images, thanks in part to the unique reddish-orange hue of the moon.
