We are also offering an incentive to return through our process, rather than through our retail partners, to eliminate returns.”Here is the complete text of Eye-Fi’s notification to its customers:Dear customer,Eye-Fi has determined that your card has an issue that could result in the loss of photos stored on the card. In order to prevent any risk to your digital memories, we would like to immediately replace this card for you. We realize this is an inconvenience, so we have developed a quick and simple process to get you a new Eye-Fi card. And, if you return your current card through this method, we’d like to offer you an additional credit at the Eye-Fi store, which you can use to upgrade your new card with an additional service or as a discount on a future purchase. Please complete the form below and we will automatically ship a replacement card to you. Once you receive your replacement card, just slip your original Eye-Fi card into the pre-paid envelope we will provide and drop it into the mail. When we receive your original card, we will send you a $15 coupon for use at www.eye.fi. We are taking this preemptive action because we realize how important it is to protect your memories.
