Nanlite’s mission is to design lighting products that allow image-makers to explore new possibilities and push their creativity. The company takes into account customer insights, design, and optimizes the functionality so that the user experience is seamless. Through that experience, creators will be able to use the newly announced Nanlite Pavotube T8-7X, Pavotube Control Bank, and the PavoBulb 10C LED Light Bulbs in any situation.

On most professional sets, these lights are extremely useful. Although, you shouldn’t disregard them for your home studio or content creation. The small size, light weight, and ease of mounting make them ideal for virtually any setting. Considering the single lights sell for less than 100 dollars each, it’s a no-brainer to add this to your kit. Let’s take a look at the announcement in more detail.

Nanlite PavoTube T8-7X Pixel Tube

The all new Nanlite Pavotube T8-7X Pixel Tube is a three-foot LED pixel tube with astounding color accuracy. It has a CRI of 96 and TLCI 97 ratings, a built-in battery, bicolor, RGB, effects, and Bluetooth control with the NANLINK mobile app. When you’re just getting started in video and are looking for an eye-catching light — or if you simply need LED tubes that are compatible with the T8 clips found in common lighting fixtures — the Nanlite PavoTube T8-7X was made just for you.

In comparison to T12 tubes, PavoTube T8-7X has a T8 diameter and 280g weight. This makes it possible to carry and shoot anywhere — even in smaller, tighter spaces. The T8-7X also features a wide CCT range of 2700K-7500K with G/M adjustment and up to 36,000 colors. It also offers the same pixel effects as the PavoTube II X-Series lights.

The PavoTube T8-7X is available for individual purchase or as part of a 4-light RGBWW kit. The kit includes a semi-hard case and storage compartment.

Nanlite PavoTube Control Bank and USB-C to DMX Cable

PavoTube T8-7X and PavoBulb 10C each have simplified controls that can be operated without a display. Connecting the Control Bank gives you four control buttons: Mode, Switch, Minus, and Plus. By doing so, you can make deeper adjustments to the attached light’s parameters.

With the Nanlite USB-C To DMX Cable, you can control fixtures such as the T8-7X LED Pixel Tube via DMX. The cable features XLR male and female jacks. It also has a USB-C female connector so you can power externally while controlling with the DMX. PavoTube T8-7X LED tube lights do not have dedicated DMX ports. Although, you can connect this cable to the USB-C port and they become DMX-enabled. This cable provides XLR input/output for DMX as well as a USB-C female port for power via external batteries while controlling them via DMX.

Nanlite PavoBulb 10C LED Light Blub

The upcoming Nanlite PavoBulb 10C LED is a lightbulb-style fixture that screws into a standard E27 socket, where it can be powered fully by the lamp or with external batteries. Besides the buttons that control CCT, Hue, and Mode, it can also be controlled wirelessly via 2.4G and Bluetooth with the NANLINK app. The top dome provides pleasing, soft diffusion and looks like a standard lightbulb. A PavoBulb Bouncer with Suction Cup — which has an adjustable aperture for controlling spills — can be attached separately. The 10C accessories include the E27 Magnetic Mount and AC Adapter, the Nanlite NP-F Battery Adapter and Mount (which can be attached to lamp sockets or mounted with its female 1/4-20 receiver), and the Control Bank (which includes four buttons and a screen for control and battery power).

The PavoBulb 10C’s can be purchased individually as well as in kits of four and 12 lights, which include hard cases and multiple accessories.
