Packing a big punch in a small and portable package, the newly-announced Ninja V from Atomos is a brand new 5-inch monitor/recorder for DSLR and mirrorless cameras.
In an 11-ounce body, the Ninja V includes a full HD 1920×1080 display that is equipped with high-bright 1000nits, which makes it compatible in extreme sunlight.
At 1-inch wide, the lightweight monitor also includes ProRes and DNxHR capabilities, along with ProRes RAW. It also boasts the Atomos OS and touchscreen (as were featured on the Inferno), but at a much smaller size.
The unit can hold approximately one hour of data recording at 4K 60p, and uses an SSD Mini drive.
The Ninja V will retail at $695 and has a release of Q3 2018.
