Manfrotto has released brand new gear to help aid photographers and vloggers in capturing new forms of creative content. The 220 and 460 are durable, versatile gimbals designed for the modern shooter and the modern camera. The GimBoom is an accessory crafted to get the most out of any gimbal you use.
Manfrotto 220 Gimbal ()
The 220 from Manfrotto is built to accommodate most popular mirrorless cameras. The gimbal can support up to 4.85 pounds, enough to maneuver mirrorless cameras from popular brands. The 220 has a quick installation process thanks to its quick-release plate. After the initial use, the gimbal is balanced and leveled for that specific camera so users can quickly attach and begin shooting. The 220 also has a detachable arm that allows shooters to go from an underslung position to a single handle position, opening up more shooting angles.
Manfrotto’s gimbals are constructed with 3-axis stabilization and motors to create the smooth, clean shots gimbals create. Additionally, each axis is equipped with a lock so users are able to lock in positions on different axes when leveled, or when traveling.
To make shooting even more convenient and creative, the 220 has an LCD touchscreen and a variety of included shooting modes. The LCD touchscreen is placed right on the handle and can be used to swiftly change camera parameters and switch between shooting modes. There are four creative modes: inception, timelapse, VLOG selfie, and TikTok portrait.

Most of the features of the 220 carry over to the 460 with a few exceptions. Most notably, the MVG 460 is primed more for DSLR and cinema cameras with a heftier payload of 10.14 pounds. The 460 also retains three of the other shooting modes: timelapse, VLOG selfie, and TikTok.
The 460 FFR kit (pictured above) comes with follow focus and a remote controller. The remote controller comes in handy when you’ve set up the gimbal in a tripod fashion and you’d like to adjust movement or camera angles from afar.
Manfrotto GimBoom ()
Get the most out of your gimbal. The Manfrotto GimBoom gives creators more options and freedom when shooting with a gimbal. The GimBoom extends from 20 inches to a maximum length of 45 inches and can carry a payload of up to 14.3 pounds at the maximum length. Shooters can easily tilt up from a ground level shot to an overhead drone shot, or pan side-to-side with ease.
The GimBoom has a fast-twisting lock on its body so operators can effortlessly change the boom length with a single hand. The product is made of carbon fiber so it is durable while being light at less than two pounds. To accommodate every single gimbal on the market, the GimBoom has both 3/8-inch and 1/4-inch screw attachments on the head.
