Whether you’re photographing families or filming weddings, Manfrotto has an innovative and portable lighting solution to help you level-up your content. This is the new HaloCompact Plus line, which includes either a double-sided reflector or a two-stop diffuser. It’s all part of the lauded and patent-pending HaloCompact design concept by Manfrotto. These lighting solutions make the everyday reflector and diffuser panel more portable than ever, thanks to the HaloCompact Plus’ RapidExoframe technology.

Unlike traditional reflectors and diffusers, which use a steel-rim pop-up design, these new gadgets have a lightweight collapsible aluminum frame designed to slot together quickly. There’s also an ergonomic clip to fasten the reflector or diffuser fabric. Videographers and photographers can expect a seamless setup and breakdown process plus spot-on content.

Here’s everything we know about Manfrotto’s new HaloCompact Plus Reflector and HaloCompact Plus 2-Stop Diffuser.

Key Features of the Manfrotto HaloCompact Plus

With lightweight design innovation, the HaloCompact Plus reflector and 2-stop diffuser are perfect for on-the-go creators. While most incorporate a clunkier steel rim pop-up design, the HaloCompact Plus line uses a portable and compact aluminum frame that quickly links together. Additionally, the functional carabiner-style clip lets you attach it to the outside of your bag for easy access. Another key feature is size. When paired with its portability, this is perfect for shoots of all kind — be it weddings, senior portraits, corporate headshots, or anything in between. Key features include:

  • Lightweight construction
  • 1/4-inch thread
  • 38-inch diameter
  • Packs into a carry case measuring 11.6” x 4.1” x 2.3”

Impressively portable and quick to set up

The new line was built with portability in mind. It boasts an entirely new and patent-pending design concept that’s astonishingly compact. Unlike most reflectors or diffusers, the new line features a lightweight collapsible aluminum frame that joins together quickly. It also boasts a clip designed to help you efficiently attach the fabric to your diffuser or reflector. This ensures a speedy set up and breakdown process. Another portability perk is another ergonomic clip you can use to attach the reflector or diffuser to the outside of your pack for easy transporting and speedy access. This is ideal for those multi-location shoot days.
