The perfect monopod for traveling

The Element MII fluid video monopods are incredibly easy to transport. The monopod kit with a head weighs only 1Kg — the lightest monopod on the market — and collapses down to 60cm. Additionally, the pan bar and the fluid base legs are removable and foldable for convenience. Creators can easily attach the monopod to a camera backpack, throw it in a bag, or carry it by hand. For the first time on a monopod, Manfrotto added twist locks for quick and reliable setup and breakdown of the monopod. For example, if you’re a professional or hobbyist who tours many locations to capture documentaries or record interviews, the Element MII Monopod is invaluable.

Smooth panning anywhere

The Manfrotto Element MII fluid video monopod fits whichever scenario you need to shoot in. The patented fluid base has a fluid cartridge that lends itself to level and smooth pan movements. It also opens up a range of different shooting angles. Above all, creators can capture perfectly smooth pan movements on uneven surfaces by changing the tilt position of the fluid base — a super helpful feature when traveling to a range of unknown shooting locations.

The Element MII monopod comes as a kit with a detachable head, or as the monopod by itself. Also, the kit with the head has a payload of 4Kg to handle mirrorless and DSLR cameras with lenses. The head has a fluid drag system on the tilt axis for super smooth camera movements and uses a 501PL sliding plate for quick and easy camera removal. Similarly, if you opt for the monopod by itself, the payload is 16Kg to support whatever you add to it. Finally, the monopod is broken down into four sections and can reach a maximum height of about 138cm (54in), which will work for sitting interviews or wedding ceremonies

The Manfrotto Element MII Monopod is now available at Adorama
