The Asus VivoBook 14.1-inch Touch Screen Ultrabook, available at Adorama, uses Intel’s Ultrabook touchscreen technology, soon to be on display in New York City.

Intel is taking its latest technology, Ultrabook, which can be found on some of today’s most advanced computers, on the road. They will be showing it off in New York May 16-19, in the Meatpacking District in Manhattan. As a key sponsor, Adorama will offer $100 savings, via a special coupon code that is redeemable at the store or at www.adorama.com, on the products that will be demonstrated by Intel.

Ultrabook allows computer makers to create combination notebook computers that morph into tablets, allowing users to choose either touch screen or keypad operation by simply swiveling the screen around. The new technology takes full advantage of Windows OS 8.

Experience Ultrabook Tour In New York!

Technology so cool and cutting edge needs to be seen, touched, and played with. So, the folks at Intel are taking their show on the road, and the Experience Ultrabook Tour will be coming to New York on May 16-19 at Gaanesvort Plaza, located at the intersection of Little West 12th Street and 9th Ave, just one block west of Hudson Street in the trendy Meatpacking District.

Check out touch-based computer art, game play experiences, and a traffic-stopping display showing how perceptual computing, facial recognition, WiDi, Telmap location services, augmented reality racing and much more have become (virtual) reality thanks to Ultrabook. All of this and more will be on display.

Adorama’s Special Offer

Once you’ve visited the display and had a chance to play with the products at the Ultrabook “Petting Zoo”, be sure to pick up the Adorama flyer, which will have a coupon code for $100 off the purchase of the following products.

The coupon will be valid either in the Adorama store, 42 West 18th Street in Manhattan (just a few minutes’ walk from Gaanesvort Plaza), or online at www.adorama.com.
