We’ve scoured the web to find out what people are saying about our Flashpoint and Glow photography accessories so you don’t have to! Take a look at our glowing reviews.

1.The Flashpoint 180 Portable Monolight, the Glow 47″ Grand Softbox andthe Glow 71″ Grand Softbox.

“Overall, we both feel that theFlashpoint 180 Monolight and theGlow 47″ Grand Softbox are fully worth the retail price and could see that a good portable kit to take on any location shoot. TheGlow 71″ Grand Softbox is probably too big for most casual shots and geared more for assembling and leaving set up in a studio than to take and set up on-location too often. It’s huge and really requires an assistant to wrangle and maneuver on a shoot – but the resulting quality of light it produces may be well worth the effort.”

“Something that both Joe and I noted however, were the design of the rods in the71″ Grand Softbox are thicker and hollow – they’re very stiff but once they bend they don’t seem to spring-back to a straight form again. Joe mentioned that they’re since they’re hollow he is afraid they may snap in half at some point or at minimum, kink like copper tubing under the right force (like being blown-over in a gust of wind).”

“The design of the rods in the47″ Grand Softbox are more like a car antenna with a thick tip on the end that goes into the Speedring (see photo on Page 1). These are much more “spring-like” in material and always snap back to a straight form when the tension is released.”

2.Flashpoint 180 battery powered monolight

“For traveling light and shooting on location with small to medium Bowens modifiers, this monolight is a winner. It’s price, small size and power-cord-free operation put it within the reach of just about anyone looking to take their still photos up a notch from Speedlites.”

3. Flashpoint DSLR Shoulder Rig II with Rails & Quick Release System

“The rig makes mobile panning and holding steady much easier, and the matte box makes filming on a sunny day at noon possible. In reality both of these systems are not the best vlogging tools. They are excellent pieces of equipment; we love them. They are just not practical for the average vlogger. There is absolutely no way that I can record myself with this equipment. However, if you have a camera man – or are a camera man – we recommend that you look into these pieces.”

4. Slinger BigBag Heavy Duty Lightstand Bag with Wheels

“I was floored when I saw the price. I carried some light stands around in this thing and couldn’t believe how well it performed. If you need to carry lighting grip around, this is your bag.”

5.Flashpoint C+ light stand 40″ double riser,40″ arm, Turtle base, 1 Grip Heads

“That’s unheard of in this price range. I wish these things were available back when I was first setting up my studio. It could have saved me thousands of dollars.”
